Sayings of Hazrat Moulana Maseehullah (166-170)

166. In spite of having the ‘light’ of your eyes, without the light of the sun you are walking as if you are blind, although you do possess eyesight.
167. You have human intelligence; you have the faculty of perception, which is mental perception; you have the faculty of knowledge…however, in spite of all these internal faculties as long as there is no help from the external Light of Nubuwwat (i.e. the Sunnah) all these faculties – the faculty of intelligence, the faculty of knowledge, the faculty of insight – can never be beneficial.
168. If you do not have sunlight then walk in moonlight. And if you do not have moonlight then walk with the guidance of the stars. (Sunlight refers to the Qur’aan, Moonlight refers to the Sunnah and the Stars refer to the Sahaabah.)
169. There isn’t any number before one; similarly there isn’t before Allah anyone.
170. He (Allah) is eternal – He has no beginning and no end.
