Once Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Umar رضي الله عنهما heard a musical instrument being played. He placed his fingers in his ears and veered off to one side of the road.

He then asked Nafi’: ‘Can you hear anything’? Nafi’ replied: ‘No’. He then took his fingers out of his ears and said:

I was with Nabi ﷺ, and he also did the same when he heard a musical instrument being played.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 4924)

Explain to your children how Taqwa is the major part of our religion and how to instill in our lives.

What is Taqwa?

Taqwa is not only about manners..
Taqwa is not only about looking Islamic…
Taqwa is not only about sporting a beard or wearing a Hijab…
Taqwa is not only about appearance

BUT

Taqwa is when you miss a prayer, you feel uneasy the whole day…
Taqwa is when you speak a lie, you feel bad…
Taqwa is the guilt that follows when you hurt someone knowingly or unknowingly…
Taqwa is the shame and regret that follows a sin you committed knowing full well how it stands in the sight of Allah…
Taqwa is when you cannot sleep after disobeying or disrespecting your parents…
Taqwa is to cry in the depths of night fearing none but the one above the Arsh…
Taqwa is the fear that refrains us from sinning when nobody familiar is around…
Taqwa is the guts and the will to please Allah, even when the whole world is hell bent on displeasing Him…
Taqwa is to wear that beard and Hijab for the sole reason of pleasing our Creator and to keep it on as per Sunnah….
Taqwa is to stay happy and smiling, knowing that this world is a prison for believers…
Taqwa is the good manners and character we practice for the sake of Allah…
Taqwa is the struggle to better ourselves according to Islam, with each passing day…
Taqwa is not just about rising in deen, but about falling, rising again and never letting go!
Taqwa is all about what is IN OUR HEARTS.

And if our hearts are filled with proper Taqwa, then actions automatically follow…
And the sweetness of these actions is so fulfilling!

Beautiful Hadith is about Qadr

Narrated Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Allah has appointed an angel in the womb, and the angel says, ‘O Lord! A drop of discharge (i.e. of semen), O Lord! a clot, O Lord! a piece of flesh.’ And then, if Allah wishes to complete the child’s creation, the angel will say. ‘O Lord! A male or a female? O Lord! wretched or blessed (in religion)? What will his livelihood be? What will his age be?’ The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 60, Hadith 8)

Subhan’Allah for this reminder of creation and qadr. Everything is as it should be and as it has been written. Know that the only thing that repels destiny is prayer, so turn to Allah with all your hearts and show gratitude, then ask of Him.🌠

In the name of Allah the most Gracious the most merciful.

When we having conversations on social media, every word that we type is recorded in our book of deeds.

When we delete our conversations, unfortunately we do not delete the recorded conversations.

If we lied, misconstrued, misrepresented any situation or person, the only way to clear our records is to correct the misconception and apologize to the person that was harmed.

Just as we are accountable for the spoken words we are accountable for messages that are shared with other people.

Gossiping or slandering someone is sinful whether on the social media conversations or as spoken words.

Allah guide our written or spoken words to conform to the divine guidance of the Quran and the blessed sunah of Nabi Muhammad (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم)

Let us seek forgiveness for our sinful actions before its too late and we will be held accountable in the court of Allah.

May Allah Ta’aala grant us all the Taufeeq to try and be constantly cautious of each and every point, for in ALLAH’S SIGHT ONLY TAQWA MATTERS.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS SECONDARY.
