Question: On the days of slaughter we sometimes have to slaughter very big bulls. Some of those bulls are uncontainable. Will it be permissible to shoot it in the head and soon as it drops we slaughter it?
Answer: No, this method is not permissible and it makes the animal Haraam for consumption, since the animal suffers and dies before you even slaughter it.
