An heir chooses an item from the assets

Question: If an heir wishes to take posession of an item of the mayyit, may he dos so, and if so how?

Answer: If for example the heir wants a particular vehicle of the mayyit. He must pay in the value of that asset. That money will now be redistributed amongst the heirs and the heir that took that item will recieve lesser of the inheritance in accordance to the value of that item.
