Using alcohol for a sick person

Question: Amr is very sick and the doctor told him that since he is dying, he can use medicine which contains alchol which might be helpfull to him. What is the ruling, can he use it, although Amr refuses to use it?
Answer:
Due to the doctor being unsure of the outcome, it is not permissible for Amr to use the alcohol.
