Was The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Born Circumcised?

I have read in a kitaab (When the Moon Split) that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was circumcised on the 7th day after birth, and heard in a lecture by an Aalim that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born circumcised. Is either one of the narrations wrong? Or is there a way to reconcile the two?
Answer:
Both have been reported. The more authentic and reliable version however, is that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born circumcised. And Allah Ta’ala knows best
