Dear sister,
I can handle the heat of wearing Hijab in summer just like how you handle the pains of wearing high heels and exposing your whole skin to direct sun light.
I can handle HIJAB as you can handle the pains of botox and plastic surgeries.
I can handle covering my face and hair with clothe just like how you handle covering your face with cosmetics that block the skin pores and handling covering your hair with gels and bleach.
And as much as you resist touching your itchy eyes so you do not damage your eye lenses or fake lashes.
Now let me ask you, what about you wearing tight clothes that restricts your movement and chokes your body? And short clothes that prevents you from bowing over or breathing normally?
And what about being forced to not wash your face outdoors for hours just so you do not wash your face/hair and damage the makeup or the hair cut?
All of this patience and struggling you are going through for what and for whom?
For the man you are running after?
Who is the free woman now?!

We have normalised the abnormality of teenage pregnancies
Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba has voiced concerns about the high number of teenage pregnancies in the province, and said that 51% of the cases recorded had been in rural areas.
She said more than 19 000 girls between the ages of 10 and 17 had given birth in the province’s facilities last year.
