CHARITY IS DUE FOR EVERY JOINT OF EVERY ONE, ON EVERY DAY THE SUN RISES.
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
CHARITY Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported that Nabi صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَم said: “Charity is due for every joint of every one, on every day the sun rises. Administering of justice between two men is also a charity Assisting a man to ride upon his beast or helping him load his bags upon it is charity. A good word is charity Every step that you take towards prayer is charity Removing harmful things from the street is charity”
Ibn Abbas (ra) narrated that the Messenger صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَم said: “There are two blessings which people lose: (They are) Health and free time (for doing good)”
The human being will be held accountable for these graces and favors on the Day of Resurrection, as Allah says, Which means, Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)!
Interpreting the above verse, Ibn Abbas said , “Delight here refers to the soundness of bodies, and senses of hearing and eyesight for which people will be held accountable as, Allah says: Which means, Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah Ta’ala).
Allah Ta’ala granted uncountable blessings on His Worshipers as He says. Which means, if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them Allah Ta’ala asked His Worshippers to thank Him for these blessings and He is Pleased with such thankfulness. Sulayman At-Taymy said, “Allah granted blessings on His worshippers commensurate with His Magnitude, He enjoined them to thank Him for them and He is pleased with their thankful confession of His blessings and their verbal praise of Him” Abdullah bin ghannam (ra) reported that the Prophet صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَم said: “Whoever says in the morning ‘O Allah whatever blessing you grant me or any of Your creature is from You Alone and there is none to be associated with You, Praise to be You and thank You for it, ‘has thanked Allah for this day. Whoever says it in the evening has thanked Allah for this night”
