CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO THE AALIM COURSE

1) Must be on the Tareeqah of the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaa’ah

2) Must be on the Manhaj of the founding and early Ulama of Deoband, namely, Hadhrat Maulana Qaasim Nanotwi Rahmatullah Alayh, Hadhrat Maulana Rasheed Ahmed Gangohi Rahmatullah Alayh and Hadhrat Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi Rahmatullah Alayh

3) The Madrasah operates on the methodology of Hadhrat Maulana Maseehullah Rahmatullah Alayh, as has been understood by the principal of the Madrasah.

4) In order for the Noor of Ilm to be obtained, as can be seen in this poem of Imaam Shafi Rahmatullah Alayh:

شَكَوْتُ إِلى وَكِيْعٍ سُوْءَ حِفْظِيْ

فَأَوْصَانِيْ  إِلى تَرْكِ المَعَاصِيْ

وَأَخْبَرَنِيْ بِأَنَّ العِلْمَ نُوْرٌ

وَنُوْرُ اللَّهِ لَا يُعْطى لِعَاصِيْ

“I complained to (my Ustaad, Imaam) Wakee’ (Rahmatullah Alayh) about my bad memory, and he taught me that I should keep away from sin. He said that knowledge of Allaah is light, and the light of Allaah is not given to the sinner.”

a student of Deen has to abstain totally from intentionally committing sins

5) Amongst the common sins and major violations of the Shari’ah:

1. Photography
2. TV
3. YouTube
4. Instagram
5. Listening to music
6. Smoking
7. Vaping
8. Associating with Shi’asm
9. Refusing to clarify to the masses that Shi’as who accuse Hadhrat Aisha Radhiyallahu Anha, slander Sahaabah Radhiyallahu Anhum, have lost their Imaan
10. Intermingling between males and females, such as on the so-called “Islamic” radio stations
11. Ulama appearing on television
12. Interfaith movement, ultimately leading to the loss of Imaan, Allah Ta’ala save us
