THE TRAITS OF NIFAAQ
Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “That person is a thorough munaafiq (hypocrite) in whom there are four (evil) characteristics. The person in whom one of these traits exists is a partial munaafiq until he abandons it.
These are:
- He abuses amaanat (i.e. he misappropriates trust)
- He lies when he speaks
- When he promises, he deceives
- When he argues he uses vulgar language.”
