Virtues of Zam Zam and Scientific Findings

Virtues:

1. Water of zamzam was used to wash the heart of Nabi (saw).
2. Nabi (saw) said : Zamzam water is for that which you drink it. (Ibn Majah) . Therefore make dua when drinking zamzam
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللٌّهِ (ص): مَاءُ زَمْزَمَ شِفَاءٌ لِمَا شُرِبَ لَهُ.
3. Abu Dharr (r.a.) Nabi (saw) said : Zamzam is a blessing, and it is a food that satiates ( Muslim) and a cure for the sick.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) has said, “The water of Zamzam is a cure for whatever (ailment) it is taken for.”
4. Drink to your fill
5. Visit those who return from Hajj and Umrah and be pleased to share the zamzam offered.

Scientific studies:
1.Quality and purity of zamzam cannot be altered.
2. No biological growth of any sort in zamzam
3. No bacterial contamination (Pathogen free)
4. Contains many beneficial minerals which helps with a number of ailments
5. Known to have therapeutic properties

Other features of Zamzam water:

Never Dried Up: This well has never dried up. on the contrary it has always fulfilled the demand for water.

Same Salt composition: It has always maintained the same salt composition and taste ever since it came into existence.

Portability: Its portability has always been universally recognized as pilgrims from all over the world visit Ka’aba every year for Hajj and umrah, but have never complained about it. Instead, they have always enjoyed the water that refreshes them.

Universal taste: Water tastes different at different places. Zamzam water’s appeal has always been universal.

This water has never been chemically treated or chlorinated as is the case with water pumped into the cities.Biological growth and vegetation usually takes place in most wells. This makes the water unpalatable owing to the growth of algae causing taste and odour problems. But in the case of the Zamzam water well, there wasn’t any sign of biological growth.
