Drinking from the Howdh-e-Kawthar
Hasan Basri (رحمة الله عليه) mentioned, “Whoever wishes to drink from the Howdh-e-Kawthar of Mustafa (ﷺ) with the cup of full measure, then he should recite the following Durood:
*O Allah, bless Muhammad, his family, friends, his children, his husbands, his descendants, his family, his in-laws, his supporters, his rumors, his lovers, his nation, and all of us with them, O Most Merciful*
O Allâh! Send salutations upon Muhammad ﷺ, his family, his Sahabah (رضي الله عنهم), his children, his wives, his progeny, his household, his relatives through marriage, his helpers [the Ansaar (رضي الله عنهم)], his followers, those who love him, his Ummah, and upon us all with them, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
Peace, Salutations, Benedictions, Salaam, Salawaat, and abundant Durood upon Rasûlullâh ( صل ى الله عليه وسلم)….
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reports that Rasûlullâh (ﷺ) said, “Increase the recitation of Durood upon me on the illuminated night of Jumu’ah ‘ah and the radiant day of Jumu‘ah, as your Durood is presented to me.”
*May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him* *May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him* *May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him*
