“She walks with modesty.”
I was trying to understand what Sayyadina Musa (Alaihis Salaam), saw in the girl of Madyan at the well, so that he would spend ten years of his life just as a dowry for her. And no, it was not because she was the daughter of a Prophet.
Allah Ta’ala Himself gave the answer in His, the Almighty’s, saying:
“She walks with modesty.”
Allah did not describe her beauty, hair, height or shape, but rather described the most precious thing he found in her – which is modesty, a precious treasure that some women and girls have nowadays lost,
Niqab is an act of “worship” and marriage is a provision.
Whoever thinks that worship prevents provision has a bad opinion of Allah Ta’ala الله المستعان
