Reciting Bismillah before speaking

Question: I contacted a certain Moulana and questioned him about some Halaal issues. Not once did he recite “Bismillah” when he answered me. However, when he goes on air, he recites “Bismillah” for each and every answer he gives. I feel very strongly that this is hypocritical. Please comment.

Answer: Advise him to recite “Bismillah” each and every time before he answers, on or off air. In this manner he will have Ikhlaas. (sincerity).
