Q. Should we continue boycotting the Sunday Times?

A. It would have been Waajib to boycott the Weekly Mail & Guardian, if they had not given an undertaking that they would refrain from publishing derogatory cartoons, etc. against Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). This much every true Muslim agrees to. The Sunday Times had published an extremely vile and blasphemous article concerning Islam and Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Until they do not give us an undertaking that they would refrain from doing so in the future, the boycott, which is supported by the KZN Jamiat, all major Daarul Ulooms, etc. continues.
