When does the muqtadi terminate his salaat?

Question: Does the muqtadi make salaam immediately, when the Imam says As salaam?
Answer: The muqtadi can make salaam as soon as the Imam has said the word As salaam. After saying the meem of as salaam, the muqtadi can make his salaam. The salaah terminates by the word As salaam.
