THE QABR
In the terminology of the Shariah, Qabr (grave) does not mean the pit in the
earth in which the mayyit (deceased) is buried. Qabr is the spiritual realm
after the incidence of earthly death. It endures until Qiyaamah. This phase
of existence beyond death is also called Aalam-e-Barzakh.
