She is the sister-in-law of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and the sister of Khadijah radiyallahu ‘anha. Once she came to visit Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. She stood outside and asked for permission to enter. Because her voice was similar to her sister’s, Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam thought of Khadijah radiyallahu ‘anha and became startled. Upon seeing her, he exclaimed (in the form of a du‘a): “O Allah! This is Halah!”
Lesson: From this du‘a we learn that he loved her. Apart from her being his sister-in-law, he loved her on account of her piety. O women! You also become pious and Allah and His Rasul sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam will love you.
