Reward That Will Tire Seventy Angels
It has been reported by Sayyiduna ibn Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) said,
“The reward of the person who recites the following durood, will be the cause of much work (of writing) for seventy angels for one thousand days.”
Those words are: جَزَى اللهُ عَنَّا مُحَمَّدًا مَا هُوَ اَهْلُهُ
jazal lahu ‘ana Muhammadan (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) ma huwa ahluhu
It is recorded in Al-Qaulul Badi’ that a person who reads Durood 50 times a day will shake hands with Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
It is narrated in a Hadeeth that a person who reads Durood every morning and evening ten times will get the intercession of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam on the day of Qiyaamah.
It is narrated in a Hadeeth that a person who reads 100 times Durood on the eve of Jumu’ah, Allah will fulfil 100 of his needs, 70 of this world and 30 of the hereafter. (Jazbul Quloob-Azkaarul Jumu’ah p.166)
It is narrated in a Hadeeth that a person who recites Durood 500 times daily will be blessed with the Ziyaret of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
