Why Do We No Longer Have Islamic Heroes Like Salahuddin Ayubi

When the hopes and desires of the women will be correct, the Ummah will get a Bāyazīd Bustāmī; an Imām Bukhārī; an Imām Abū Ḥanīfah; an Imām Shāfi’ī; an Imām Mālik; an ‘Abdul Qādir Jīlānī; a Mu’īn-ud-Dīn Chishtī; a Moulānā Qāsim Nānotwī; a Moulānā Muḥammad Ilyās; a Moulānā Rashīd Aḥmad Gangohī (Rahmatullah Alaih) ; and who knows what other types of great support Islām will get.

However, when the hopes, wishes and desires of the women are polluted, they become filthy and putrid; they involve themselves in listening to, and watching music and television; wasting time; getting immersed in fashion and squandering wealth. Then the Ummah gets musicians and singers. The Ummah gets pornography actors. The Ummah gets people immersed in immorality and shamelessness – people who interfere with young girls, and people who watch filthy films.

If it was within my ability, I would have gone in front of the Ka’bah Musharrafah and appealed to the women of the Ummah to have mercy on the future of the Ummah. Rectify and correct your aspirations, wishes, desires, and hopes. The Ummah has become straitened by the immoral youth it has within it. The Ummah is in dire need once again of an ‘Abdul-Qādir Jīlānī Rahmatullah Alaih. The Ummah has a great need once again for a Mujaddid Alf Thānvī Rahmatullah Alaih. The Ummah is in need again of a Shāh Waliullāh Rahmatullah Alaih. The Ummah is in need once again for a Bāyazīd Bustāmī Rahmatullah Alaih. And the Ummah is in need once again for true, and genuine servants of it.

O mothers, it is only you who can present this gift to the Ummah. This cannot be done by males. You are the ones who keep the child for nine months in the womb. Those who carry the child in the womb, remember, during that time, the hopes, wishes and desires you have in the heart, they become the hopes, wishes, and desires of the child. You hold the child in the womb. Your hopes are transplanted into the child to a greater degree. Your ways, deeds, actions, hopes, and enthusiasms must now leave the path of disloyalty towards Islām. Become loyal Muslimahs once again.

Islām is traveling far and wide, going thousands of miles, but it cannot find a loyal Muslim. Everyone has left Islām in order to stand alone. Everyone is busy with their jobs, involved in earning wealth. All are drowning in fulfilling their desires, everyone is busy in following the latest fashion trends, Islām – like an orphaned child is being pushed about and is suffering.

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ

«Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?»

فَذَلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ

«For that is the one who drives away the orphan.»

Have you seen the one who belies and denies the Dīn, i.e., religion? Who is he or she?

Do not seek those who deny and belie the religion only within Mandirs. Do not look for those who deny and belie the religion only within Churches.

We shall tell you who are those who belie and deny the religion. It is the one who drives away the orphan. Today the Dīn of Sayyidunā Muḥammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam has become orphaned. We are the very same ones who have taken this Dīn as an orphan and are driving it away, pushing it away, and oppressing it.

When there is a wedding function, this Dīn is driven out. The Sunnah is taken out and thrown out. When there is a wedding function, then the house cleaner to the street sweeper is made ‘happy.’ But on that occasion, Allāh Ta’ālā and His Rasūl ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam are made sad, displeased, and angry.

Repent, O servants of Allāh! Repent. Repent. Seek forgiveness. Seek forgiveness. Our hopes, wishes, desires, and aspirations have become polluted and filthy. All these have been dirtied from before, then the eyes are defiled. Aspirations are dirtied first, then the hands and legs are contaminated. The aspirations are dirtied first, then the tongue becomes foul. The hopes and desires are filthy from before, then the stomach is spoilt. The aspirations are filthy from before, then everything becomes polluted.

The first, and most important thing, is to clean and purify our aspirations, hopes, and desires. When the wife of Fir’awn purified her aspirations and intentions, then she became an ideal role model of īmān for the entire world. When the wife of ‘Imrān had pure aspirations, Allāh Ta’ālā made her the mother of two great Anbiyā’.

In times of before, the clean and pure aspirations of the women brought two great Anbiyā’ to the world. Now, after the chain of Nubuwwah has ended at Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam – as a result of the clean, pure, and pious aspirations and hopes of the women – the Ummah would acquire Awliyā’. What…? Are we in such a time where even the chain of Awliyā’ in the Ummah has been closed?

O Allāh, there is no shortage in your treasures. You have not changed. We have changed. How can evil-prone satanic parents bring forth a walī? If the parents are not performing Tahajjud, how will the child be performing Fajr? If the parents are not crying in front of Allāh at night, how will it not be that the youth waste their lives away in immorality and lewdness?

O youth! You are the focal point of the hopes of Sayyidunā Muḥammad Rasūlullāh ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam,

O young females! To whom should we plea? You were the means of Sayyidah Faṭimah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā; you were the means of Sayyidah ‘A’isha raḍiyallāhu anhā; Sayyidah Khadījah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā; Sayyidah Umm Kulthūm raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā; Sayyidah Ruqayyah raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā; and Sayyidah Zaynab raḍiyallāhu ‘anhā. To whom should we plea?

The first Qiblah, i.e., Masjid Al-Aqsā, is calling and imploring us. The flowing blood of the oppressed is calling, pleading, and imploring us.

Repent. Repent. The evil effects of the sins of a single soul affects hundreds of thousands of people, thousands of miles away…
