Hadhrat Muhammad bin Haatib رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ is cured

As a child, Hadhrat Muhammad bin Haatib رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهُ was brought to Rasulullaah ﷺ by his mother at a time when he had burnt his hand. “O Rasulullaah ﷺ!” his mother said, “This is Muhammad bin Haatib, who is the first child to be named after you. Rasulullaah ﷺ passed his hand over the child’s head and prayed for him to be blessed.

Rasulullaah ﷺ then also applied some of his blessed saliva on the child’s face and on his hand, as he recited the Du’aa:

أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ وَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لا شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفَاءُكَ شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقَماً
adhibil ba’sa Rabb an-naas wa Ishfi antash-shaafii la shifa’aa illa shifa-uka shifa-an la yughadiru saqamanThe mother relates that they had not yet even left the presence of Rasulullaah ﷺ when her son’s hand had been completely cured.[Mustadrak of Haakim 6909 from Hadhrat Ummu Jameel رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهاَ]
