A Tiger and A Leopard – A Lesson in Controlling Anger
![]()
In the dense jungle, a tiger and a leopard, both proud and powerful, decided to join forces for a hunt. Hunger had gnawed at them for days, and they knew that working together would increase their chances of success.
After hours of stealth, patience, and effort, they finally caught a young buck. The chase had been intense, and the reward was sweet. But as they stood over their prey, a new challenge emerged — who would get the bigger share?
Their pride flared.
Their egos clashed.
Words turned into growls.
Growls turned into roars.
Soon, the jungle echoed with the sounds of a ferocious fight. Claws slashed, teeth tore, and blood spilled. The tiger and the leopard, once allies, were now enemies — blinded by rage and the desire to dominate.
Exhausted and wounded, they collapsed on opposite sides of the clearing, panting and bleeding. Neither had the strength to claim the buck.
Just then, a fox, who had been watching silently from the bushes, crept in. With swift cunning, it grabbed the buck and disappeared into the forest.
The tiger and the leopard could only watch — helpless, humiliated, and defeated.
Their prey was gone.
Their bodies were broken.
Their pride had cost them everything.Ashamed and regretful, the tiger and leopard realized how their uncontrolled anger had cost them their reward.
“When a person is not in control of his fury, he harms his body and his wealth.”
