Al Kufru Millatun Wahida (Disbelief is one nation)

وَكَذٰلِكَ نُوَلِّىْ بَعْضَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ بَعْضًاۢ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
«And thus will We make some of the wrongdoers allies of others for what they used to earn.»

[Al-An’am 6:129]

This ayah of the Quran is profound in the sense that ALLAH makes different Kuffar helpers of each other in one another’s kufr so that ALLAH increases their punishment . It’s the lanah (curse) on them that makes them oppose the HAQ (Truth) while they think that they are doing a great job.

Hafiz ibn Kathir writes in his tafseer of this ayah :

• «The Wrongdoers Are the Supporters of Each other.
• Mamar said that Qatadah commented on this Ayah, “Allah makes the wrongdoers supporters for each other in the Fire by following one another into it.” Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam commented on Allah’s statement, “It refers to the wrongdoers of the Jinns and mankind.”
• The meaning of this honorable Ayah thus becomes: `Just as We made this losing group of mankind supporters of the Jinns that misguided them, We also appoint the wrongdoers over one another, destroy them by the hands of one another, and take revenge from them with one another. This is the just recompense for their injustice and transgression.»

We see this happening all over the world today. Different groups of kuffar, despite their ethnic, linguistic, religious and ideological differences, are inviting each other, encouraging each other and supporting each other in their enmity and suppression of Islam and Muslims.

Can we think of any ethnic, religious, linguistic group as vilified and suppressed by every other group in the world as the Muslims have been?

This united enmity against Muslims is a sign in itself that the kuffar are in fact one nation and their hatred for Islam is something instinctive due to their being from the group of shaytan (Hizbul shaytan).

Take for example – The French need to insult the blessed Prophet ﷺ, with no apparent benefit at all rather borne out of a hypocritical arrogant desire to mock. You see them inviting the worst of Divine punishment foolishly, just for the heck of it while cloaking it under the facade of upholding free speech when they themselves know that they are being hypocritical according to their own standards where they arbitrarily choose which freedom to allow and which to ban.

If that wasn’t strange enough , We see the mushrikeens of India standing up in solidarity with the atheists of France despite having diametrically opposed ideology, becoming outraged when their idols are mocked. Despite all these differences, we see them declaring themselves the staunchest supporters of the French atheists and their deplorable acts, supporting them and running twitter hashtags in their support.

Not only that, the Indian Government itself came out in full support of the French and actually declared “We strongly deplore the personal attacks in unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of the most basic standards of international discourse,” (The irony of their statement lost on them).

What unites them despite their diametrically opposing values?

What puts a blockage on their intellect that they don’t realise their own glaring hypocrisy?

It’s as ALLAH has clarified in the Quran.

«You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah..»

Quran (5:82)

They don’t care about their religion or values, its just pure carnal enmity and hatred for Islam. All of them are hizbulshaytan (Group of shaytan) and their enmity against the Haq and the upholders of Haq is a result of it.

«Satan has overcome them and made them forget the remembrance of Allah. Those are the party of Satan. Unquestionably, the party of Satan – they will be the losers.»

Quran 58:19

That’s why ALLAH says that HE makes them supporters of one another in their Kufr and fasaad so that they all face the punishment in the Hereafter. That’s why ALLAH made the mushrikeen a part of the kufr of the French and vice versa.

For us Muslims, it shouldn’t come as a surprise. After all, if we, as the Quran says, are on the Truth, then every other falsehood in the world is sure to oppose us.

Infact, this a clear sign as said repeatedly by ALLAH ﷻ in the Quran and as predicted by the Prophet ﷺ.

«Narrated Thawban: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ): He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.»

Sunan Abi Dawud 4297

The Muslims should return back to the Deen knowing that they are a one nation, shaking off the “wahn” from their hearts and minds, and knowing that ALLAH is enough for them.

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ
And those who disbelieve are allies to one another, (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not do so (i.e. become allies, as one united block with one Khalifah – chief Muslim ruler for the whole Muslim world to make victorious Allah’s Religion of Islamic Monotheism), there will be Fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism, etc.) and oppression on earth, and a great mischief and corruption (appearance of polytheism).
