Qurbani Deception of Shias

The Zahra Trust, a UK-based Shia charity. They list “Whole Chicken” for £7 under their Qurbani page.

What’s going on

The Zahra Trust does offer chicken as a Qurbani option
On their site you can donate £7 for “Whole Chicken”, and it’s framed as “Fulfill Your Qurbani with Whole Chicken”. The Zahra Trust is Shia-run and commonly serves Shia communities.

Mainstream Shia fiqh position on chicken for Qurbani don’t permit it

Bottom line

Their advert of a chicken alongside other animals tells the common person that chicken can be used for udhiyyah.

Also, the common person doesn’t know the difference between sadaqah and udhiyyah in a hurry.

Also, the slaughter of a Shia is Haraam. Even if the udhiyyah animals are done, the meat cannot be eaten because the Shia are not Muslims.

The whole operation is not acceptable in Shariah.
