Q. Can three talaaqs be given in the space of one month?
A. The best form of talaaq is to issue one Talaaq Raj’i during a period of tuhr of the wife, i.e. when she is not in the state of haidh.
If, however, the husband does not want to even entertain the idea of retracting, then he should issue one Talaaq Baain, also in the woman’s clean state (tuhr). Reconciliation in this case will only be possible through the medium of nikaah.
