THE SEVERITY OF THAT DAY

Are you ready for it?

Allah ﷻ says in the Qu’ran in Surah Fajr:
كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا
No! When the earth has been leveled – pounded and crushed
The plains of Hashr, on which mankind will be gathered and remain for 50,000 years!
A flat plain, big enough for the entire mankind to stand on.
وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا
And your Lord will come, with Angels row upon row.
Those who were not obedient, will stand for so long, in a crushing crowd, sweating, some upto the ankles, some to the knees, some to their mouths! They will stand with no water, shade or food. They will stand naked and uncircumcised yet they’ll be too worried about themselves to even glance at each other.
Then they’ll finally go to each prophet Adam, Nuh, Musa, Isa and Muhammad عليهم الصلاة و السلام to ask Allah ﷻ to begin Qiyamah!
And only Muhammad ﷺ will agree.

Then Allah ﷻ will descend in a manner befitting his Majesty and Angels row upon row and the accounting shall begin.
وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ الذِّكْرَىٰ
And Jahannam will come on that day, the day when mankind will remember but how will his remembrance benefit him?
[89:21-23]

His regret & repentance won’t benefit him!
He had his chance, and now he will be judged!
_
Prophet ﷺ said
“Jahannam will be brought on that day dragged by 70,000 ropes, and pulling every rope are 70,000 angels”
[Sahih Muslim]
_
The wrongdoers,
سَمِعُوا لَهَا تَغَيُّظًا وَزَفِيرًا
They will hear its fury and roaring
[25:12]
from a distance of 100 years!
Yet the righteous will be protected from it completely!
_
يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي
He will say, “Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life.”
[89:24]
_
If he was disobedient, he will regret his disobedience!
He will realise in those moments, when he is looking at the fire that the Akhirah is the real abode!
_
Ya Ibn Adam! Ask yourself
Am I ready for this day?
Isn’t it time to change?
And Repent Immediately!
Fear your Lord and the day you will stand before Him!
_
May Allah ﷻ grant us forgiveness and safety on Qiyamah from all punishments and entry into Jannah Al Firdous.
