Q. When does the rooh (soul) enter the foetus?
A. The Rooh enters the foetus on the 120th day. According to some Ulama it enters even before the 120th day. Allah knows best. If medically movement in the foetus is established before 120 days, then it will mean that the Rooh has entered.
Q. During the pause between the two Jumua Khutbahs, is it permissible to raise the hands in dua?
A. It is not permissible to raise the hands to make dua during the interval of the two Jumuah Khutbahs. A dua may be made in the mind only.
Q. My husband had given me two Talaaqs. He vested the power of the third Talaaq in a Maulana. However, after some time, my husband gave me another Talaaq. Is this Talaaq valid although his power was taken away?
A. The idea that a husband’s power of Talaaq could be cancelled or taken away is baseless and false. The husband will always retain his power of Talaaq even if he delegates someone to issue Talaaq on his behalf. Delegation of the authority to issue Talaaq does not cancel the husband’s power of Talaaq. The Talaaq issued by your husband is valid. Since you have already been issued with two Talaaqs previously, the latest Talaaq is the third and final Talaaq. As such, the Nikah has finally and irrevocably ended.
You are therefore in Iddat.

A. You may not combine the two raka’ts Sunnatul Muakkadah with Awwaabeen. The maximum number of Awwaabeen is 20 raka’ts. Muster up courage and struggle against the nafs to perform at least 4 or 6 Awwaabeen\
Q. Is it permissible to put the Mushaf on the carpet on the floor?
A. It is not permissible to put the Mushaf of the Qur’aan Majeed on the floor or carpet. It has to be placed on a shelf or a stand or a bench made for it. The largescale current disrespect for the Qur’aan Majeed, especially in the Haramain Shareefain is the heritage of the deviate Salafis.
Q. Who is Khidhr? Is he alive?
A. Hadhrat Khidhr (Alayhis salaam) is shrouded in mystery. The popular majority view of the Ulama is that he is still alive. The minority view is that although he has died, he appears in human form executing duties imposed on him by Allah Ta’ala. Numerous Auliya in all ages have personally met him. Q. A Moulana says that it is permissible to give a copy of the Qur’aan Shareef to a non Muslim, and that the rule of Tahaarat applies to only Muslims. Is this true?
A. The Maulana is incorrect. One does not require much brains to understand that protecting the Qur’aan Majeed from defilement will apply greater if the handler is a kaafir. The Maulana has no valid Shar’i argument for his baseless opinion.
