She is the mother of a very illustrious Sahabi by the name of ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud radiyallahu ‘anhu. She had such a great influence in the domestic affairs of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam that outsiders used to think that she was part of his household.
Lesson: This great contact that she had with the household of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was only on account of Deen. O women! If you safeguard your Deen, you will also gain proximity to Rasulullah sallallahu‘alayhi wa sallam.
