If Sin had a Smell – A Sobering Thought

Every human being carries sins—some known, many hidden. Yet Allah ﷻ, in His immense Mercy, conceals them. He veils our faults so we can walk among one another with dignity. He allows masājid to be filled, gatherings to continue, and families to remain bonded—not because we are sinless, but because He is As‑Sattār, the One who conceals.
If Allah were to expose our inner reality the way He exposes physical appearances, companionship would vanish. Respect would disappear. Humility would become impossible.
So if you see people admiring you, then know that they’re admiring you only because ALLAH has displayed your good side to them and covered your bad side or sins.
