A: Jumu’ah Salaah is not valid in a prison. If the prison authorities accede to ithn aam then Jumu’ah Salaah in prison will be valid. However, this is inconceivable. Ithn Aam is general permission to the Muslim public to attend the Jumu’ah proceedings.
