Was The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Born Circumcised?

Q: I have read in a kitaab (When the Moon Split) that The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was circumcised on the 7^th day after birth, and heard in a lecture by an Aalim that the Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born circumcised. Is either one of the relations wrong? Or is there a way to reconcile the two?

A. Both have been reported. The more authentic and reliable version however, is that Rasoolullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) was born circumcised. And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
