5 Times Salaah On Time!
5 Times Salaah On Time!
Think of our heart as a battery that constantly needs recharging. The 5 times daily salaah are the intervals during the day where we charge this battery and even service it.
The quality of the charge depends on the devotion of our salaah, and the duration of the charge depends on how well we refrain from sin. The more sins we do, the faster the charge is depleted.
If we understand this concept, then we understand the importance of praying salaah on time, and refraining from sins, otherwise our hearts will become depleted of the noor that energises us towards good. Now take, for example, when we delay our salaah, how lazy we become to perform it and even how fast or without concentration we pray it. This is because our hearts are on low fuel or even depleted.
To combat this, shaitan has made sins part of our daily lives. Weather we are out and about or even if we are sat at home.
But Allah, in His infinite wisdom has already made it so that shaitan cannot succeed if we maintain the sunnah of Nabi ﷺ. How so? If we follow the sunnah of Nabi ﷺ we would be praying morning and evening azkar, nafl prayers during the day, yaseen in the morning, quraan during the day, dua and bismillah before performing any action, and so many other amaal. Allah has even made it so that our daily lives can be a form of rewards with the correct intentions, on condition the actions itself are not of sin. Also this negates the sins we may have committed, and even replaces them with good deeds, replenishing our hearts with more noor to motivate us towards good.
Add to this the multiplication we get for praying salaah with jamaat, and doing other deeds.
This outlines the importance in this day and age for us to follow and maintain the sunnah of Nabi ﷺ. The importance of doing our azkar, our durood, our quraan recitation, and nafl salaah, along with praying our 5 times salaah on time. Islam has prepared us to stay above the ploys of shaitan in every zamaana, because islam is a millions years ahead, it all depends upon us. The more good deeds we do the more our hearts will be compelled towards good and will ditest sins and missdeeds.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala guide u and me to become from amongst his a’abids and beloveds.
Ameen
